Metalyt pays particular attention to product quality and monitors whether manufactured castings meet the established requirements.
If a customer discovers a possible manufacturing defect after receiving the product, they should contact a Metalyt representative and provide information about the order and the identified issue.
Replacement of Products with Manufacturing Defects
If a manufacturing defect in a casting is confirmed, Metalyt replaces the defective product with a product of proper quality.
The terms and procedure for replacement are agreed with the customer depending on the type of product, the specifics of the order and the circumstances in which the defect was discovered.
How to Report a Defect
To submit a request for review, the customer should contact a company representative and provide basic information about the purchased product:
- the order number or order date;
- the product name or part number;
- a description of the identified defect;
- contact details for further communication.
Where possible, photographs of the product and the identified defect may be attached to the request. This will help the company's specialists assess the situation and provide further recommendations.
Request Review
Each request is reviewed individually. A company representative may clarify the necessary information and inform the customer about the next steps.
Customers are advised not to send products without prior agreement with a Metalyt representative.
Important Information
Replacement is provided when it is established that the defect is related to the manufacturing of the casting.
